PDF can use text recognition for scanned pages. EPUB follows chapter order and uses an embedded cover if present. DOCX, TXT and HTML are read as extracted text. Layout can differ from the original.
Test-build limits: 100 MB per file; 4 million text characters; 2,000 PDF pages. HTML scripts and external images are not loaded.
MOBI, AZW, AZW3, KFX, DRM-protected books and legacy DOC are not supported. Use an authorized PDF/EPUB copy or export DOC to DOCX.

Internet is needed for purchases, restoration and resource downloads. Reading local text does not require internet. Available installed voices and translation language pairs can work offline; check the pair in Settings and test before travelling. Translation requires a physical device.
Seven days to find your rhythm
Planned launch offer: a free 7-day trial, then an optional one-time unlock around US$5. No subscription and no automatic charge. The final local price is shown by Apple before purchase. Reading, narration and translation require the trial or unlock; export and deletion remain available.
A permanent unlock covers the purchased features while the app remains available and compatible. Future products, including a children’s edition, are not included.
Good to know
Will my files be uploaded to FMD?
No document-upload service is included. Files and cached translations stay in the local app library. Apple services may process their own diagnostics.
What happens if I delete or uninstall?
Deleting removes the app’s local original, cover, translations and progress, not the source copy in Files. Uninstalling removes the library. Export originals first; the library is excluded from iCloud device backups in this build.
Is translation guaranteed to be exact?
No. OCR, narration and automatic translation can contain mistakes. The original is preserved. Compare important content with the original and seek a qualified translation when needed.
How do I restore the unlock?
Use Restore Purchases in Settings with the Apple Account used for the purchase and an internet connection. A restored trial retains its original start date. TestFlight transactions do not grant a production purchase.
